Shannon is a 15 year old Sophomore attending the Greater Atlanta Christian School. She excels academically taking honors classes and carries a 3.8 GPA. She is very involved in school activities including community service, mission trips and athletics.

Although Shannon has many interests and has played several sports and studied dance for years, her true passion is soccer. She began playing at the age of 4 and presently plays on three highly competitive soccer teams:

• Gwinnett Soccer Associations (GSA) Premier Region 3 (SE region of the US) U16 Team,
• 92 Girls Olympic Development Team (ODP)
• Greater Atlanta Christian School Varsity where she has been a starter since freshman year

Shannon became interested in pageants while taking modeling classes last year. She was encouraged to participate in the Miss Teen USA and won the title in November. She loves, dance, public speaking, physical fitness, and hanging out with her girlfriends, so pageants are a good fit for her and encompass many of her interests.

Shannon lives in Norcross, Georgia with her parents Terry and Nancy and her older and younger brothers Dillon and Devin. Her family is big into sports and travel. Shannon speaks Spanish and recently went on a mission trip to Mexico where she performed community service projects such as painting and maintenance work and of course found time to play soccer with the local children.

Shannon is working hard to obtain a scholarship to play soccer in college. She loves her writing and business classes and hopes one day to combine her love of sports, media, and modeling into her "dream job". She doesn't know what that is yet but, knowing Shannon it will certainly be exciting!

She is looking forward to a fun-filled and exciting 2008. Be sure and cheer for her at the 2008 Miss Teen USA pageant national competition in March!
